Director of the Air Defense Forces Museum in Balashikha, Yuri Knutov, commented on the ongoing talk about a possible second wave of mobilization in Russia.
He noted that a lot will depend on how the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian forces will proceed. If a serious breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is not achieved, then the second wave of mobilization will not be required, said an expert in interview radio station “Moscow speaking”.
At the same time, he did not rule out that additional forces might have to be brought in if serious threats arise. However, according to Knutov, this does not have to be mobilization, since reserves can be drawn from military units stationed in Russia.
“So far, there are no grounds for a second wave of mobilization,” Knutov stressed.
Today military expert, reserve colonel Viktor Baranets admittedthat the second wave of mobilization in Russia may be announced due to the interference of the Western military-political bloc NATO in the course of the NWO.
