Andrei Klishas, ​​head of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation, commented on Senator Sergei Tsekov’s proposal to confiscate the property of the oppositionists who left Russia. Mr. Klishas called such ideas unconstitutional.

“For a number of colleagues, the craving for outrageous statements wins everything. It is unconstitutional, which is why it is unrealizable, ”wrote Andrei Klishas in his Telegram channel.

Earlier, Senator from Crimea Sergei Tsekov said that all Russian citizens who left the country and criticize it from abroad should have their property confiscated and sent to the needs of the participants in the special operation.
