Andrey Klishas, ​​head of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building, said that the confiscation of property from the departed Russians for discrediting the RF Armed Forces, incitement to extremism and the rehabilitation of Nazism is possible. However, for this it is necessary to amend the criminal code of Russia.

“Such an approach is possible, but the wording of the elements of a criminal offense is necessary, it is necessary to make appropriate amendments to the Criminal Code,” Andrei Klishas said. TASS.

This morning, January 13, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin offered supplement the articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on incitement to extremism, the rehabilitation of Nazism or the discrediting of the armed forces. In his opinion, they should include a clause on confiscation of property.

“The scoundrels who have left live comfortably thanks to our country. While abroad, they rent out real estate, continue to receive royalties at the expense of Russian citizens. At the same time, they allow themselves to publicly pour dirt on Russia,” Mr. Volodin wrote in his Telegram channel.

Viacheslav Volodin did not name specific names in his publication. As an alternative punishment, the deputy suggested depriving such fellow citizens of the right to enter Russia.
