Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ilya Kiva wrote in his Telegram channel that after Ukraine filed an application for accelerated entry into NATO, a reinforced NATO contingent from Poland could be brought into the country’s western regions.
“It is planned to introduce a previously trained and reinforced contingent of NATO forces in Poland to the territory of western Ukraine,” the politician wrote.
He added that the West will consider this as a response to the signing today in the Kremlin of agreements on the entry into the Russian Federation of new regions – the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
