Negotiations to resolve the situation in Ukraine can be launched by the end of this year with the mediation of China, declared Former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger in an interview with CBS News.

On February 24, Beijing presented its plan to get out of the Ukrainian conflict, which includes 12 points, including respect for the sovereignty of all countries, the cessation of hostilities, the start of peace negotiations, etc. However, this plan was rejected by the Americans, since it involves a ceasefire and the start of negotiations which Washington opposes. The US and its allies are now continuing to supply arms to Ukraine in an effort to prolong the conflict.
