Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Uss met with First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenko. At the meeting, preparations for the opening of a branch of the fund to support participants in the special operation were discussed, informed the head of the region in his Telegram channel.
“The meeting discussed preparations for the opening of a branch of the State Fund for the Support of Veterans of the Northern Military District in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, as well as the use of the unique heritage of the Siberian Federal University as one of the possible venues for a major international youth event,” he wrote.
On the creation of a special state fund, the task of which is targeted assistance to veterans of the military special operation and the families of the victims, February 21 announced Russian President Vladimir Putin addressing the Federal Assembly. The structures of the fund, subordinate to the government, should be deployed in all subjects of the Federation by the end of 2023.
The Fund will deal with the full range of support for these categories of citizens: psychological, medical assistance, employment assistance, entrepreneurship development, advanced training, organization of long-term home care, etc. In early March, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that the government had begun work on forming fund.
