Coordinator for Strategic Communications at the National Security Council of the US Presidential Administration John Kirby, speaking to reporters, answered a question about the resignation of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
According to an American official, the White House took the reshuffle in the Ukrainian government calmly. At the same time, Kyiv did not have any agreements with Washington on this issue.
“The United States is ready to work with any commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine… Decisions on military leadership are made by Ukrainian President Zelensky. We will continue to work with our Ukrainian colleagues,” Kirby said.
