Kirby refused to comment on Kyiv’s involvement in the Nord Stream bombing

The White House refused to clarify whether measures would be taken against Ukraine if its involvement in undermining the Nord Streams was confirmed. John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, made comments on this matter at a briefing.
Kirby declined to speculate on the outcome of the investigation into the pipeline incident. “I will not get ahead of the ongoing investigation,” he noted.
A White House spokesman said the focus now is on getting Ukraine what it needs. These are critical needs.
Kirby admitted that to support Kyiv, “the runway is getting shorter and shorter.”
