Kim Jong Un sent a telegram to Putin

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un sent a telegram to Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which he conveyed “fighting greetings” to the government, army and people of Russia, who stood up to defend the country, RIA Novosti reports citing the Rodong Sinmun newspaper.
The telegram was sent to Putin on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Korea’s liberation from Japanese colonial rule.
Kim Jong-un noted that the Russians stood up to protect the sovereignty and security of the country. The politician wished Vladimir Putin good health and success in his responsible work.
The telegram also says that the Red Army, along with the soldiers of the Korean People’s Liberation Army, shed their blood for the liberation of the Korean Peninsula. The North Korean leader expressed confidence that the friendship between the DPRK and Russia will be “transferred and developed in accordance with the requirements of the new era within the framework of strategic relations for centuries to come.”
Earlier, Vladimir Putin congratulated Kim Jong-un on the Liberation Day of the country.
