North Korean leader Kim Jong-un congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on his 70th birthday.
According to the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea, in his congratulations, he noted the merits of the Russian leader in “building a strong country.”
“At the moment, the Russian Federation is successfully protecting the fundamental interests of the country from threats from America, as well as the dignity of the state. I believe that this would not have been possible without your will and leadership,” said Kim Jong-un.
Among other things, the head of the DPRK expressed hope for the further development of relations between the two countries and the agreements reached during the meeting of the leaders of the two countries in 2019 in Vladivostok.
