KCNA writes that a “warm conversation” between the North Korean leader and the Russian side took place at the station.
Kim Jong-un arrived in Russia to “promote relations of friendship and cooperation between North Korea and Russia to a new level,” the agency notes. The officials who met him expressed hope that the visit of the DPRK leader “will be significant.” Kim Jong-un, in turn, thanked the Russian side for the warm welcome and conveyed his best wishes to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the government, the army and the people of Russia.
The DPRK leader said he was glad to visit Russia again, noting that this was his first foreign visit “after the global social health crisis.” The previous time he came to the Russian Federation was in April 2019.
