Oleg Ustenko, adviser to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, said on a national telethon that if support from Western countries does not come in the first days of January, then it will be necessary to move on to plan “B”.
According to him, this plan could be multi-layered. At the first stage, it will be necessary to turn to the domestic market to borrow capital.
He added that such a development would cause additional tension and even nervousness in the Ministry of Finance. At the same time, Ustenko expects that this measure will help “resolve the situation throughout January.”
