Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin spoke about the development of four new Russian regions. In particular, it was about creating favorable conditions for doing business in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. To do this, a free economic zone (FEZ) is being created, for the status of residents of which applications have already been submitted.
“The first applications for obtaining the status of FEZ participants have already been submitted,” Mr. Khusnullin said in his Telegram channel. The development of four new regions is impossible without creating favorable conditions for doing business, he noted.
At the end of June, the law on the creation of SEZs in four new regions accepted State Duma. They will be valid until January 31, 2050. The volume of investments for work in the SEZ will be 30 million rubles, for small businesses – 3 million rubles, for IT companies – 1 million rubles.
From January 1, 2023 in four new regions operate special tax regimes.
