According to him, the main work that will allow the opening of traffic will be tentatively completed in March 2023. “I instructed to increase the number of inspection complexes so that drivers spend less time waiting for permission to travel,” the Deputy Prime Minister added.
During his visit to the Crimean Bridge on December 5, President Vladimir Putin instructed bring the left side of the Crimean bridge into perfect condition. According to Khusnullin, it is “in a limited working condition” and it needs to be brought “in normal compliance so that it is the same as the right one.”
On October 8, an explosion occurred on the Crimean bridge. At about 6:00 Moscow time, a truck blew up on the automobile part of the Crimean bridge from the side of the Taman Peninsula. Also, seven fuel tanks of a train heading towards the Crimean peninsula caught fire. As a result, the motor spans of the bridge partially collapsed, killing four people.
