Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Alexander Khinshtein sent an appeal to the Minister of Transport Vitaly Savelyev and the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Alexander Neradko on the introduction of a temporary moratorium on the use of drones except for state needs. “I have been saying for a long time that in the conditions of the NWO, drones pose an increased threat. Moreover, we still do not have legislation that comprehensively regulates their use (as well as the circulation of countermeasures for drones). I believe that such laws should be developed and adopted as soon as possible!” – wrote the deputy.

At the same time, Khinshtein expressed hope for the prompt adoption of a bill that gives law enforcement agencies and departmental guards the right to stop the movement of drones in all areas. The deputy recalled that the document was submitted to the State Duma a month ago.

On the night of May 3 Kyiv undertook an attempt to attack the Kremlin with two drones. The actions of Kyiv in the Kremlin called “a planned terrorist act, an attempt on the life of the President of Russia.” The Kremlin press service also stressed that Moscow reserves the right to take retaliatory measures “where and when it sees fit.”

Kyiv denies involvement in the attack. The UN previously also urged the parties to avoid steps leading to an escalation of the conflict. Commenting on the incident, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that Washington leaves it up to Kyiv to protect its territory in the conflict. The White House stressed that they do not encourage Ukraine to strike at Russian territory.

Khinshtein declaredthat the nighttime attack of drones on the Kremlin showed the need to immediately pass laws regulating their use. In Russia, the use of drones and counteraction to them is not regulated by law in any way, the deputy noted. According to him, the draft law on unmanned vehicles was prepared “just now.”
