It will be difficult to label Telegram channels that disseminate information hostile to Russia without involving the administration of the messenger. This opinion was expressed by the head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Alexander Khinshtein.
“I’m afraid that it will be quite difficult to do this without the involvement of the Telegram administration. It’s hard for me to say how ready the Telegram administration is for this, in some forced way, I’m afraid it will be difficult to do this, ”he said, answering a question from journalists (quote according to TASS).

According to her, this will help people understand “who is behind this [каналом] worth it” and what is the purpose of such resources. She added that she would offer Roskomnadzor to create a list of Telegram channels behind which “our enemies are hiding.”
Thus, Matvienko responded to the statement of the first deputy head of the international committee of the Federation Council Vladimir Dzhabarov that young people mainly receive information from Telegram channels. According to him, since February 2022, about a hundred channels have been created that “disguise themselves as Russian”.
