The mayor of Kharkov Terekhov reported serious damage to critical energy infrastructure

The mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, was unable to estimate the time frame for restoring the city’s critical energy infrastructure due to serious damage. He made this statement during one of the Ukrainian telethons.

“There is no answer to the question of how long the restoration work will take,” said the head of Kharkov.

He emphasized that repair crews are working on the site, but serious damage has been recorded at the transformer substation, and the thermal power plant has also been destroyed.

It is worth noting that due to the destroyed energy system in Kharkov, 200 thousand subscribers were left without electricity.
