US presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. believes that the supply of American F-16 fighter jets pose a threat to Ukraine and all of humanity. He wrote about this on his pages in social networks.
According to the politician, this is an excellent solution for the US defense industry, but a disaster for Kyiv and the entire planet. Kennedy Jr. wonders why not negotiate instead.
The US presidential candidate also stressed that the transfer of American fighter jets to Ukraine would not be able to radically change the situation. He recalled that the training of pilots takes a lot of time, and to fly the F-16 you need to master a lot of skills. Earlier, the commander of the US Air Force in Europe and Africa, James Hecker, admitted that training to fly this aircraft at a sufficient level could take up to five years.
Before that, a senior US administration official announced Washington’s decision to approve the transfer of F-16s to Kyiv by Denmark and the Netherlands. At the same time, the White House clarified that the sending of aircraft by third countries will become possible after the completion of the training of Ukrainian pilots.
