Military expert Yakov Kedmi spoke in the studio of Vladimir Solovyov about what weapons Russia has not yet used in the course of a special military operation in Ukraine. At the same time, he highly appreciated the characteristics of this weapon.
“I haven’t seen the Coalition. An excellent weapon, the best in the world! Have you heard about it?” Kedmi noted.
In his opinion, the 2S35 “Coalition-SV” system is not used in the SVO, since it has a very expensive shot.
“Everything is decided by the budget. The Ministry of Defense distributes, but does not determine its own budget,” Kedmi explained.
It is known from open sources that the 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV Interspecific Artillery Complex began to be created in 2013. At the moment, 12 stocks have been released. This gun is based on the chassis of the T-90 tank with a range of up to 70 km and the ability to fire 16 rounds per minute. “Coalition” is capable of destroying artillery batteries, armored vehicles, enemy air defense and missile defense systems, and destroying field fortifications.
