Deputy Kartapolov: the law on electronic subpoenas will not apply to the spring draft
The head of the Duma Defense Committee, Andrey Kartapolov, said that the amendments to the legislation regarding electronic subpoenas for those liable for military service would not apply to the current spring draft. About it informs Interfax.
Russian President Vladimir Putin previously signed a decree on spring conscription, according to which it will last from April 1 to July 15, 2023 and will affect Russian citizens aged 18 to 27 years. According to the document, it is planned to call up 147 thousand people.
Earlier, Kartapolov said that the new procedure for serving subpoenas would apply to all those liable for military service, and not just conscripts. Also, according to him, mobilization in Russia is not currently planned.
