Kartapolov proposed to grant the status of veterans to all combatants

According to the State Duma deputy, now the people he has listed “are actually fighting.” “They don’t catch saboteurs, their significance is significantly downplayed. Currently, conscripts do not have the status of participants in hostilities, since they are not sent to a special military operation, but are located in the border regions, which regularly come under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Earlier, Tatyana Merzlyakova, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Sverdlovsk Region, reported the death of three conscripts from her region in the Belgorod Region. She asked return all Sverdlovsk conscripts who ended up in the Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk and Voronezh regions to their places of deployment.
