The head of the State Duma Defense Committee, retired colonel-general Andrey Kartapolov, commented on the mass publication in the Ukrainian segment of the Internet of a photograph of an alleged “order of the Russian Defense Ministry” on additional mobilization in Russia from September 11.
“This is complete nonsense, a fake document,” Kartapolov emphasized.
He added that it was designed by “our opponents” and deliberately thrown into social networks.
The general urged not to respond to such publications and not to pay attention to them. He noted that today there is no need for mobilization, since the tasks of the special military operation are carried out as part of the active recruitment of military personnel under the contract.
