Kara-Murza was taken from the colony in Omsk in an unknown direction

Opposition journalist Vladimir Kara-Murza (included in the register of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) is no longer listed in the maximum security correctional colony in Omsk, where he served his sentence imposed by the court.
The disappearance of the prisoner was reported by human rights activist and journalist Alexander Podrabinek. He wrote on the social network that three days ago he sent Kara-Murza a letter through the FSIN-letter service, and today he received a response, but from the colony administration.
“The letter cannot be delivered because the addressee has left for another institution,” Podrabinek quoted the contents of the response.
It is currently unknown where the oppositionist has been transported. His wife Evgenia Kara-Murza confirmed that “after four months in solitary confinement,” Kara-Murza “departed in an unknown direction.”
Last year, the Moscow City Court sentenced Kara-Murza to 25 years in prison on charges of treason, spreading fake news about the army, and operating an undesirable organization. The capital’s appeal court left the verdict unchanged. Kara-Murza did not admit guilt.
