The eldest son of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, Akhmat, has been appointed to the post of regional minister for youth affairs, said the chairman of the parliament of the republic, Magomed Daudov. At the opening ceremony of the sports festival “Technosport of the First,” he presented the Order of Kadyrov to the son of the head of Chechnya.

“Since the beginning of his activities, he has made a significant contribution to improving the quality of work of our youth organizations, provides comprehensive support to the younger generation, actively participates in the public life of the region and solves any tasks at a high level,” wrote Magomed Daudov in Telegram channel.

Since 2022, Akhmat Kadyrov has held the position of adviser to the head of Chechnya, as well as regional chairman of the Russian movement of children and youth. In November 2023 it appointed First Deputy Minister of Chechnya for Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy. That same month, Akhmat Kadyrov and his brothers, 15-year-old Adam and 16-year-old Eli, were awarded the highest order of the republic’s parliament, “Honor of the Fatherland.”
