Akhmat special forces soldiers and allied forces are entrenched in Soledar in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). They are preparing to take the city under complete control, informed Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov in his Telegram channel.
“The Akhmat special forces, together with the allied forces, are preparing to take full control of the city of Soledar of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” he wrote. Kadyrov also published a video filmed by Akhmat fighters in Soledar.
According to the head of Chechnya, the Ukrainian military lost morale and found themselves “helpless” in front of the Russian troops. He noted that the equipment supplied to Kyiv by the West “is also of little help to them.”
On the eve of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported about taking control of the village of Kodema in the DPR during a special operation in Ukraine. Besides, noted in department, the Ukrainian military stopped attempts of approach in the Nikolaev-Kryvyi Rih direction. According to the ministry, earlier the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered heavy losses.
Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Its goals, Russian President Vladimir Putin, outlined the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine.
On July 3, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced the release of the LPR. He added that the DPR is currently being released according to plan. In addition, the entire Kherson region is under the control of the Russian military. Most of the Zaporozhye Oblast and several districts of the Kharkiv Oblast are also controlled by Russia.
