The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, reported a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which he congratulated him on his victory in the elections and wished him an inexhaustible supply of strength. He added that the residents of Chechnya demonstrated great unity, consciousness and interest in their future during the voting.
“On behalf of the entire Chechen people, I congratulated Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin on his convincing victory in the elections. I wished him an inexhaustible supply of vitality and energy in public service and assured him of support for his great course for the benefit of the future of our fatherland,” Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in Telegram channel.
According to the head of Chechnya, the president asked him for a favor, which he performs with great pleasure. He did not specify what exactly he was talking about.
As Ramzan Kadyrov wrote, Vladimir Putin sees the result that Chechnya showed in the elections, is proud of it and thanks everyone for their support. Mr. Kadyrov called the past presidential elections historical.
Based on the results of counting all votes, the CEC reportedthat in Chechnya Vladimir Putin received 98.99% of the votes with a turnout of 96.46%. These are the highest figures in the country.
