Kadyrov sent a letter to Putin with a request to relocate Akhmat to Artemovsk
The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, sent a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to redeploy all units of the Akhmat special forces from all directions to Artemovsk (Bakhmut), taking the place of the Wagner PMC.
Kadyrov asked Putin to instruct Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Director of the National Guard Viktor Zolotov to issue combat orders to withdraw Akhmat units from other directions and redirect them to Artemovsk, taking over the positions of the Wagner PMC.
It is worth noting that earlier the head of a private company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, announced that he intended to withdraw his units from Artemovsk by May 10. The day before, he said that as a result of the assault on the city on Saturday, the Wagnerites managed to advance 170 meters.
