Kadyrov announced the detention of saboteurs in the Kherson region

During operational activities in the Kherson region, saboteurs were detained who planned to conduct subversive activities in new territories, declared on Sunday, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, in his Telegram channel.

According to him, in the Kherson region “at full speed” is cleaning up the inflicted items from “Ukrainian criminal elements.” As Kadyrov specified, the deputy head of the National Guard Directorate for the Chechen Republic Sultan Rashaev, the commander of the North regiment Khasmagomed Magomadov, the commander of the South battalion Saidi Lorsankaev and other special forces soldiers are participating in the events, as Kadyrov specified.

“In the course of operational activities, dozens of weapons were seized, including grenade launchers and various types of explosives. Saboteurs who planned to carry out subversive activities in the liberated territories were also detained, ”Kadyrov wrote.

The head of Chechnya added that the command of the special forces received “valuable information” from the detainees. The data is planned to be used “against Ukrainian nationalists” in the near future.

Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions. On November 11, the Ministry of Defense reported on the completion of the withdrawal of troops from Kherson, the city is now under the control of Ukraine. On November 15, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that no decisions had been made to stop considering Kherson the administrative center of the Kherson region after the withdrawal of Russian troops.
