Ukraine may send troops to the United States-Mexico border to resolve the refugee crisis. This is what Ukrainian journalist Kirill Sazonov, fighting on the side of the Ukrainian army, thinks so in an interview with the Politeka YouTube channel.
“We have nothing to do with the US-Mexico border. If really necessary, we can transfer a couple of combat brigades there, and the issue will be closed,” the political scientist said.
He also expressed regret that Kyiv cannot influence such processes.
Sazonov believes that the struggle within the US Congress has a very negative impact on support not only for the Ukrainian army, but also for the country itself. Representatives of the Republican and Democratic parties cannot share their positions on strengthening the southern border and resolving the migration crisis.
