Hunter Biden received more than $1.5 million in taxable income annually in 2017-2018, according to NBC, citing the office of the prosecutor in charge of the investigation. At the same time, he did not pay taxes on them, although he already had a debt of $ 100,000. The investigation into the tax cases of Biden Jr. has been ongoing since 2020.

The Associated Press reports that Hunter Biden is also charged with illegally acquiring and possessing a revolver in 2018 while on drugs. The president’s son lied about this when filling out an official form when buying weapons, for which he is legally facing up to 10 years in prison. To avoid such an outcome, Biden Jr. made a deal with the investigation, promised to no longer own a weapon and not take drugs for two years.

Previously, Hunter Biden has repeatedly become the center of various scandals. He was especially interested in the Republican Party, which long ago began its own investigation against the son of the president. The most striking points of the accusations against Biden Jr. are drug use and corruption.

In addition, Republicans suspect Hunter Biden and his father of involvement in corruption schemes in Ukraine. Companions of former US President Donald Trump believed that Hunter could be involved in corruption schemes of the Ukrainian oil and gas holding Burisma, where Hunter was a member of the board of directors. Judicial accusations against Donald Trump turned into an increase in his rating and popularity. I do not rule out that such accusations against Biden will rather rally the democratic electorate around their leader. The outcome of the elections will be decided by the undecided votes, which, according to various estimates, are about 10% in the country,” the expert concluded.
