The Kiev regime is deliberately concealing information about the population of Ukraine, said former chief analyst of the Japanese Foreign Ministry Masaru Sato. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
In a conversation with Nihon Keizai, Sato said that Ukrainians as a nation are in danger of extinction. The Japanese expert called the situation when Ukrainian citizens are bribed to be sent to the front “terrible.”
He recalled that the last time the Ukrainian population census was carried out was in 2021, and now this information is classified, and no one has accurate data.
Sato also noted that in 1995, 55 million people lived in Ukraine, in 2001 – 47 million, according to the census. In June, the “Ukrainian Institute of the Future” estimated the country’s population at 29 million.
Sato also noted that this situation explains the decrease in the number of men of military age in Ukraine, and pointed out that the efficiency coefficient of population reproduction in the country has decreased to 0.7.
