Japan will allocate $5.5 billion to Ukraine. This was stated by Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, speaking at the opening of the fourth annual Tokyo Global Dialogue Forum.
“We will send additional financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $5.5 billion,” TASS quoted the politician as saying.
Kishida also recalled that Tokyo has provided support to Ukraine and its citizens over the past year.
Last week, the Norwegian Parliament announced its intention to provide financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 7.4 billion over five years.
Kyiv will receive one and a half billion dollars a year from Oslo for military and humanitarian needs.
