Janitor for 2000 rubles a month: what job remains for a pensioner

For the sake of interest, I ran around the district and sites in search of work for a local and, say, a person who came from another region – a refugee, a migrant, not the essence … Well, that is. arrived from somewhere – and quickly got a job, albeit without a special education. Moreover, the authorities are only talking about the ever-increasing well-being of the people, despite the sanctions and minor conflicts in neighboring countries.

Here’s what happened.

The seller in the Vyatka grocery store (this is Pyaterochka, and Magnit, and others like that), there is also a security guard in the store – 20-26 thousand rubles / month. Up to 30 thousand depending on the saturation of the schedule.

It is clear that in smaller stores, not federal ones, and the salary is less – 15-20 thousand rubles.

Loader in a chain grocery store, schedule 2 through 2, from 8.00 to 20.00, – 30 thousand per month. “In white.”

Loader in the same outsourced store – 1000 rubles / day.

Cleaning lady in the same store – 600-700 per day (outsourcing).

Cleaner in a private firm (for example, a conditional decorative, art “art salon”: sale of paintings, wooden products, souvenirs, etc.) Schedule – 5/2; 2-3 hours a day; 200 m2 of harvested area – 5500/month.

A janitor in a state institution, about 1000–1500 m2 of cleaning area (ran into the department of the Russian Guard, the Investigative Committee) – 5–10,000 rubles / month. Basically the salary “in a black way”. Otherwise, “in white” will be very little.

Janitor in a network pharmacy, 200 m2 of cleaning – 1700/month. during the summer period; 2000 rub. – in winter. Yes, yes, I was not mistaken! – exactly 2000 per month. To my surprise, the director of the pharmacy, a young girl, simply shrugged her shoulders – they say, what will I do? After all, it really has little to do with it.

In the end, I opened the Kirovstat website with the average monthly salary of Kirov residents. To compare whether my “home” research converges with official statistics. The official average monthly nominal accrued salary is 38,974 rubles. Turns out it’s not very…

In general, how do our pre-pensioners live?

Many are acquired with the wrong financial priorities. And the most common popular misconception is the emphasis on the endless “grandmother’s” accumulation.

Unfortunately, people tend to rate their level of priorities by how much money they save for a rainy day. Money in the bank is, of course, not bad. But the main thing is a reliable stream, provided with work, passive income, your own small (or large) business, and finally freelancing.

You can survive without any accumulated money by having an income. But you can’t do without regular income. After all, the “grandmother’s chest” tends to empty.

I saw a study the other day that says Americans think they need $1.25 million to retire.

At the same time, the average retirement savings of Americans fell by 11%. From $98,800/year last year to $86,869 today. While their expected retirement age has risen. Now it is 64-67 years old (on average, regardless of gender) compared to 62.6 last year.

But let’s leave the New World alone – to rot the last days. Let’s see how our future pensioners live, maybe?

It is known that the retirement age of Russians will gradually increase to 65 for men and 60 for women by 2028. But whether the savings prepared for a comfortable legal old age will grow is a rhetorical question.

How do Russian pre-pensioners live in this respect? Given the global drop in income, the closure of enterprises, the unforeseen shutdown of many commercial productions.

The statistics of the portals “Rabota.ru” and “SberPodbor” says that in the last six months, in connection with the SVO and partial mobilization of the population, employers have turned to older people – 55-60+. Those. especially for retirees. They are quite “strong” material for them. What is facilitated by responsibility, reliability, corporate loyalty to the company in the end – there is nowhere to rush, as they say. There are no endless expanses of youth ahead.

As it turned out, the majority of older Russians cannot save money for old age. However, like the aforementioned Americans, and indeed ordinary people in the world, tied to mortgages, loans and mutual obligations with relatives. Everyone has social standards – in different countries their own – nationally tied standards of living.

It is clear that it is impossible to save even a million or half a million rubles if you or your children-grandchildren, whom you help in an old man’s way, are still in captivity of mortgages, consumer loans, debt obligations. Your lifestyle depends on it. Attached to this addictions, habits. Yes, everything from wakefulness to sleep! From everyday work to a short inexpensive vacation in Gelendzhik.

More than four in ten Americans (43%) say they are not financially ready for retirement. Ten out of ten older residents of Kirov (100%), interviewed by me on the street, said that they also “did not save up”. And all hope is for future meager payments from the state. We add that for the reporting period of Kirovstat, the average pension in the region is 18,350 rubles.

Therefore, you will have to earn money in any way!

From here, from this promise, the phenomena concerning my dear peers and older are seen as strange.

Not only that, many rushed to the military special operation. (Yes, yes, patriotism is off scale, no question!) Which, well, obviously they can’t do it – due to their age, again. So they are also on all sorts of shifts with might and main driving around, trying to drive around. True, not always, alas, successful shifts. What I will definitely show in the next article is that fraud as a factor in attracting pre-pensioners is gaining momentum. After all, the conditional 30-40-year-old youth is on the call. Or away.

Yes, deceit, yes, outright fraud is rampant.

Well, how to explain to the old pre-pensioners that it is impossible to trust the Inet, enticing with all the colors of the rainbow, a priori! But no – in search of additional income, they climb into the jaws of the dragon. And they get. And they fall into the abyss. And their wives smash them to smithereens!

What, in the end, remains for people who have reached, reaching the “age of survival”?

Well, if you have health. Then the bulk of the pre-pensioners go … to the secret police. Where else? Moreover, many private structures kindly allow their wards to work without licenses (this is, as it were, not a super-duper violation). Making out simple watchmen, watchmen is not the point.

The biggest salary of (licensed) security guards I saw this year in Sochi – 3600 rubles. per day. According to Zamkadovskaya Russia, the salary of security guards is about a thousand and a half. Moreover, the work does not beat the recumbent – sit and sleep. But… If you please, a license (I repeat, not all firms take people “from the street”).

For example, this summer I visited a five-star hotel on the Black Sea coast (I won’t say which one, so as not to fall under the spawning articles about slander and all sorts of “horrors of business”.) I can only say that a mug of beer on the beach there costs 1000 rubles.

I concluded that the rich Russian “Pinocchio” have not gone away. And, for example, in such a superhotel, a person with certain skills – an electronics engineer, painter, locksmith – can get a part-time job. No problem. (The salary of a “stayer” in the south ranges from 40 thousand.)

The only thing I will add is that recently any employer (by law) carefully checks the history of the candidate. And, say, a person with a criminal record – albeit a very old one, albeit an excellent specialist in any field – will definitely not be taken.

Which is also, in general, solved. But that’s a completely different story…
