However, according to expert Aleksey Krichevsky, citizens should be careful when applying for loans before the New Year. It is necessary to look at the wording of the conditions, the specialist warned: a loan of 10% per annum does not at all mean that we are talking specifically about this figure. The rate can even turn out to be 20%, since the pretext “from” is indicated, he shared the details. On top of that, as Krichevsky pointed out, there is no guarantee that the loan will be approved. The analyst warned against contacting the first credit institution that came across on this issue.
Banking expert Konstantin Borodulin also noted that, as a rule, before the holidays, citizens spend more money on credit cards than usual. However, as he clarified, this year many Russians have reduced the number of spontaneous purchases.
