Italy announced dates and venue for G7 summit in 2024

The 2024 meeting of Group of Seven (G7) leaders, chaired by Italy, will take place June 13-15. The head of the Italian government, Giorgia Meloni, spoke about this on Friday, November 10.
As the politician clarified, the summit will be held in Puglia in the Itria Valley, in the resort of Borgo Egnazia.
Meloni named Africa and migration as the main topics on the G7 agenda during the Italian presidency.
Earlier, the head of the Italian Foreign Ministry and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani promised Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky that Rome would continue to pay special attention to Ukraine during its presidency of the G7 in 2024. The politician said that Italy will support Ukrainian citizens until until there is a just world.
At the same time, at the meeting of the heads of the Foreign Ministries of the G7 states in Tokyo, it was not possible to agree decision on sanctions regarding the export of diamonds from Russia. The G7 foreign ministers agreed to “intensify consultations.”
