Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni believes that Islamic culture has no place in Europe. She said this at the festival of the premier party “Brothers of Italy”.
Melony’s British colleague Rishi Sunak attended the event.
During her speech, Meloni noted that there is a problem in the compatibility of Islamic culture with the values of European civilization.
“Islamic cultural centers in Italy are financed by Saudi Arabia, where Sharia law is in force. In Europe, there is a process of Islamization that is very far from the values of our civilization,” Meloni said.
Sunak said at the festival that he would push for major reforms to asylum issues. He also said that because of enemies, Europe was under siege by migrants. If the problem is not solved, the number of migrants will increase.
“This will undermine our countries and our ability to help those who really need our help the most,” Sunak said.
