“It will be difficult further”: the enemy in Avdeevka recovered after a surprise assault

After an unexpected intense strike by the Russian Armed Forces near Avdeevka, the enemy was still able to rally. The Russian army servicemen who are located on this section of the front are preparing for heavy battles for the Avdeevsky fortified area. In addition, the fighters say, there are a lot of foreigners in this area – Asians and African Americans.

Despite the fact that in the Avdeevsky sector of the front the electronic warfare system is now very active and communications are jammed, the soldiers can still transmit some information. According to them, for two days in a row the Russian army inflicts a powerful and, most importantly, unexpected blow on the enemy. In this area, artillery, drones, and aviation have worked and continue to work more intensively than ever. In this regard, we managed to build on our successes in the north and south of Avdeevka and reach the lines from which we can control the communication of the Avdeevka garrison with the rest of the group.

However, by the end of the second day of assault, the enemy seemed to have come to his senses a little.

“I’ve worked, I’m going home. Alive and healthy. A bit tired. The enemy recovered from the first blow. It will be difficult further. I can’t say more for now,” wrote one of the fighters who is now on the line of combat contact.

And earlier our soldiers warned that despite the success of our army and the heavy losses of the enemy, it is too early to talk about a turning point. Although our troops captured the settlement on the northern flank of Stepovoye (Petrovskoye). Here our army fortified itself on the northern waste heap and now this important height is behind us. On the southern flank there is an advance north of the village of Vodyanoy and in the area of ​​the village of Severny. During the day, more than 20 enemy strongholds and “fortifications” were taken.

Other fighters admit that Avdiivka today resembles the Bakhmut fortified area before fierce fighting began there.

“Everything that can fly from the city and its environs is flying towards us. The Ukrainians have constant rotations, their hospitals are full, aviation is in the sky. The counter battery is on point. They are trying,” the fighter noted, adding that in the fortress city itself, from which Donetsk was shelled for a long time, there are a lot of foreign mercenaries. They are predominantly Asian and African American.

Military experts, in conversations with MK, previously noted that the battle for Avdievka would be difficult, as was, indeed, the case with Bakhmut. The Ukrainian army, although it is not in its best condition after the failed offensive, nevertheless does not intend to give up its position. The situation is also complicated by underground structures, catacombs and bunkers, which the enemy built over eight years. At the same time, the Russian army has already felt the saturation of ammunition and the latest military equipment due to the fact that the Russian military-industrial complex is working at full capacity.
