To punish with a ruble those who do not let specialists into their apartments to check gas equipment, was proposed at a meeting in the Federation Council by the deputy head of the State Housing Inspection near Moscow, Alexander Belousov. According to almost all participants in the meeting on gas safety, such tenants pose a particular danger to their conscientious neighbors.

To date, documents have already been developed that provide for the verification of all common house gas equipment, but the issue has not been resolved with the intra-apartment inspection. And it is there that the most serious violations can be committed, which pose a danger not only to the residents of the apartment, but to the entire apartment building. Therefore, it was decided to oblige everyone who uses gas stoves and water heaters to enter into agreements with gas workers on a periodic preventive inspection of their gas facilities without fail. Refusal to sign the contract entails administrative liability. Belousov proposed another way with negligent citizens – to sell them gas at a price several times higher than usual. For example, if today a family pays 6,000 rubles for a cubic meter of blue fuel, then in case of refusal it will have to pay 20,000 rubles. , worse, a maniac, but a full-time employee of the gas office.

Also, the meeting participants drew attention to the need for a legal solution to the issue of the possibility of opening to check the condition of the gas equipment of those apartments in which no one lives for a long time.
