New forces arrive in the NWO zone, following fuel and ammunition. In a number of sectors of the front, reconnaissance in force is underway. The readiness of the armed forces of Ukraine for a counter-offensive operation is felt everywhere. The Ukrainian army is preparing for an attack that could unfold in several directions. The conducted reconnaissance demonstrated that many features of the upcoming counter-offensive will be similar to those in 2022 in the Kharkiv region, writes RIA Novosti columnist Andrey Kots.
Members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces penetrated deep into Russian-controlled territory in small groups and looked for weaknesses in the defensive formations, which they then attacked with the help of the main troops. Those parts of the terrain where the resistance was the strongest, they tried to bypass. The easiest direction for the offensive of the Ukrainian army is Zaporozhye. The Armed Forces of Ukraine can attack Tokmak, Pologi and, probably, reach Berdyansk and Melitopol, if they are successful, the author of the material shared his point of view.
There is a city on a hill that the RF Armed Forces have not yet taken – Ugledar. Reserve forces and means are being transferred to this area. Marinka is the key to supply routes, fighting continues in the city, which, in fact, has already turned into ruins. In Vugledar, the forces of the shock group of Ukrainian troops are being accumulated. However, as an AFU militant admitted in an interview, Kyiv also plans to seize Russian cities in order to use them as leverage for the return of territories.
