Officer McGregor: The Russian Federation will destroy airfields along with the Su-24 in Western Ukraine
The Russian Armed Forces can liquidate airfields in Western Ukraine from which Kyiv Su-24 bombers take off. This assumption was made by former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor, in his blog on YouTube.
“The Su-24s, which fired Storm Shadow missiles, took off from the runways on the western borders of Ukraine… I am sure that now the Russians are watching all these airfields…”, the expert believes.
According to him, at some point Ukrainians may wake up and notice that the infrastructure for Ukrainian military aviation has disappeared, since the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed it.
Russia systematically attacks military control, defense industry, communications and energy facilities of the Kyiv regime. As Vladimir Putin noted, the strikes were a response to the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge and other attacks on civilian infrastructure in the country.
