A Russian fighter with the call sign Snake spoke about changes in the tactics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

A Russian fighter with the call sign Snake said that the Ukrainian military was forced to change its approach to the use of cluster munitions, since the Russian military had learned to counter them.

He clarified that the Armed Forces of Ukraine actively used cluster munitions until mid-autumn. Back then they were used to prepare for assaults, but at the moment the Ukrainian military uses them exclusively for defense.

“Fortifications made from one layer of logs and 30 centimeters of sand have become a reliable means against cassettes. This is enough to protect against a cluster munition attack,” Snake noted.

According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are now relying on the use of inexpensive FPV drones, and they are firing high-explosive shells at the positions of Russian troops.
