Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to postpone the adoption of judicial reform, due to which mass protests began in the country. It is noted that the consideration was postponed until the summer session of the Knesset (the government of Israel). This is reported by radio Kan, referring to the party of Ben-Gvir.
It is reported that Israeli Prime Minister and Minister of National Security of the country Itamar Ben-Gvir agreed on this decision.
On Monday, more than 80,000 people were recorded near the walls of parliament, opposing judicial reform.
It is worth noting that earlier Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant was dismissed by the country’s prime minister for a proposal to suspend consideration of judicial reform in order to become open to negotiations with the opposition.
