Israeli army storms cities in the West Bank

According to Iranian news agency Tasnimthe Israel Defense Forces are carrying out assaults on populated areas in the West Bank.

According to the agency, Israeli soldiers are attacking the village of Fasail, which is located north of Jericho in the West Bank. There are also reports of assaults on cities near Nablus, Jenin and Qalqilya.

Al Mayadeen TV reports that Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire on Israeli forces in the west of Jenin.

The situation in the Middle East escalated after the infiltration of Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip into Israel on October 7. This attack was a response to the actions of the Israeli authorities against the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. In response, Israel declared a complete blockade of Gaza and began launching strikes on this territory, as well as on certain areas of Lebanon and Syria. Clashes also occur in the West Bank.
