Israel will request an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council

Israel’s permanent representative to the UN, Gilad Erdan, told the media that he would send a request for an urgent meeting of the organization’s Security Council in connection with the Iranian attack.
“I am going to send a letter demanding an urgent meeting of the Security Council and expressing condemnation,” Erdan said.
Meanwhile, the Iranian mission to the UN appealed to the US authorities to “stay away” from the conflict between Tehran and Tel Aviv. The Iranians called their attack self-defense after an Israeli strike on the Iranian consulate in Syria.
On Saturday evening, Iranian authorities sent hundreds of kamikaze drones to Israel. It has become known that the Iranian military is using Shahed drones to attack Israel. The IDF reported that the air defense system and the armed forces themselves have been put on high alert.
