Israel to form emergency government

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the head of the opposition National Unity Party Benny Gantz have agreed to form an emergency government. About it reports Haaretz cited a source in Netanyahu’s Likud party.
The source claims that an agreement has been reached that Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Gantz will join the military cabinet. Gantz’s party member, former Israel Defense Forces chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot, and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer will serve as observers.
The powers of the regular security office as provided by law will remain unchanged.
