Netanyahu: Israel adheres to the laws of war and will not listen to Erdogan’s “moral sermons”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected criticism of Tel Aviv from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who compared Tel Aviv’s actions in the Gaza Strip to the Nazis. Netanyahu himself said that all the IDF’s actions are legal.

“Israel, which adheres to the laws of war, will not listen to the moral sermons of Erdogan, who supports the murderers and rapists of the terrorist organization Hamas,” Netanyahu said.

It is worth noting that earlier Erdogan sharply criticized the Israeli prime minister and his government because of the IDF’s actions in the Gaza Strip against Hamas militants. The Turkish president claimed that Tel Aviv was committing crimes against humanity in the Palestinian enclave, and also put Netanyahu on a par with Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.
