According to the Qatari TV channel Al Jazeera, Israeli troops used tear gas during a raid in the city of Aqraba in the West Bank. Raids were also carried out in the villages and towns of Surif, Bani Naim, Anabta, Yabad and Kafr al-Labad. At the moment there is no information about civilians injured or detained.
The situation in the Middle East escalated after the infiltration of Hamas militants into Israeli territory on October 7, which was accompanied by the killing of residents and the taking of hostages. In response, Israel began to strike the Palestinian enclave and parts of Lebanon and Syria.
On December 1, the Israeli army accused Hamas of violating the truce that had been in effect since November 24 and announced the resumption of hostilities in Gaza. The Palestinian Authority blamed the Israeli aggression on the United States.
