Israel bombs southern Gaza and hits Al-Maghazi camp, there are casualties

The southern part of Gaza came under intense Israeli bombardment overnight, Al Jazeera reports.

According to the report, the Rafah area in the southern Gaza Strip has been under intense bombardment since early morning. The Israeli occupation is expanding its military operations in the south.

In addition, the channel’s sources reported that Israeli aircraft carried out a series of intense strikes east of the city of Khan Yunis.

Later Al Jazeera, reported that an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Maghazi camp in the central part of the Gaza Strip killed dozens of people. Video from the scene confirms the numerous casualties caused by the overnight airstrike on the camp.

Israeli aircraft also struck buildings in the northern Gaza Strip, leading to their destruction, RIA Novosti reported.

The media also reported that the southern part of the Gaza Strip was subjected to intense bombing. In one of the videos, a local resident says that there were 69 people in her house, and only 14 of them survived, the rest died.

For many decades, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, related to the territorial interests of the parties, remains a source of tension and clashes in the region. In 1947, the UN decided to form two states – Israel and Palestine, with the active role of the USSR, but only the Israeli state emerged.

In response to the Hamas attacks on the morning of October 7, the Israel Defense Forces launched Operation Iron Swords in the Gaza Strip. Within a few days, the IDF controlled all settlements near the border and carried out airstrikes on targets, including civilians, in the enclave. In addition, Tel Aviv announced a complete blockade of Gaza, cutting off supplies of water, food, electricity, medicine and fuel.
