Is it possible to destroy financial pyramids in Russia
[ad_1]
On Tuesday, October 18, at 15.00, the MK press center will host an exclusive live broadcast on Vkontakte dedicated to the situation with financial pyramids in Russia.
It just so happens that in difficult economic times, financial scams always flourish. Millions of Russians remember this well from the sad experience of the early 1990s, when financial pyramid schemes such as MMM, Vlastelina, Khopra were operating in Russia, in which people often left their last money. Today, financial pyramids in our country are gaining popularity again – the Central Bank counted one and a half thousand such structures in just 9 months of this year. Of course, they have acquired a modern look: almost all of them operate on the Internet and use the promises of earning money on cryptocurrencies, economic games and digital assets as “lure”. But their essence remains unchanged at the same time: to lighten the wallets of gullible citizens for the maximum possible amount and blow their feet. Can such activities be stopped by legal means? How to distinguish a financial pyramid from a real investment company? Are there any opportunities for citizens who have fallen into the network of financial fraudsters to return their money?
The answers to these and other questions during the live broadcast in the MK press center will be sought by experts: the chairman of the Consumers Union of Russia Pyotr Shelishch, the head of the ONF project “For the Rights of Borrowers” Evgenia Lazareva, the manager of the Federal Public-State Fund for the Protection of the Rights of Depositors and shareholders Marat Safiulin.
