Iranian computer security specialists announced that they stopped cyber attacks on the central bank of Iran and two local social networks. This is reported by the agency IRNA.
The executive director of Telecommunications Infrastructure, Amir Lajevardi, told the agency about cyber attacks on the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In addition, according to the director of the company, the Iranian social networks Bale and Rubik were also attacked. “These attacks were repulsed,” the report says.
Lajevardi also recalled that many Iranian banks and financial institutions are subject to cyber attacks from abroad. “But none of them were successful,” he stressed.
